This means we have a position open here at Vine Leaves. Are you interested in running a writing craft blog for a lit mag that is into its fourth year running, and has grown into a highly respected writer's market?
To give you an idea of exposure, for the first time ever in our history of existence, we've had 10,000+ page views this week. And we get an average of 2500+ unique page views per week. Being a part of this journal is a two way street. It will benefit YOU as much as those who read us.
The job is simple: "If you are responsible for the craft blog, it is up to you to either write the posts, or commission the posts from other experienced authors. You may do both. Topics must be approved with the Publisher, Jessica Bell, before moving forward. It is your responsibility to edit, format, and schedule the posts in the actual blog, and make sure the articles posted are at a highly professional standard. A post must go live at least once a month, but no more than once a week."
If, in the future, any prose or poetry editor positions open up here, you will also be given the opportunity to take on the additional role before we advertise it publicly.
This is a volunteer position. All staff at Vine Leaves are volunteers. You will be required to sign a 12-month contract which will be open for renewal for another 24 months upon completion.
If you are interested, please send a CV and cover letter explaining why you are perfect for the job to firstname.lastname@example.org. Deadline: October 25, 2015.
Jessica looks forward to hearing from you!
